“What we’re trying to do today is design homes where people walk in and say, ‘I could live here,’ where they feel comfortable immediately,” he continues. However, underneath the design elements, he also notes, “The majority of the homes built in the Parade this year will be Energy Star rated and/or Built Green (designated) … We’re also seeing more care in the landscaping design, less sod to water or Xeriscaping.”
